Western Union Are You Ready for 2023? Report for circulation & Webinar plan

The BSSA is keen to ensure our members get useful high quality business information. We have been speaking to Western Union Business Solutions (Convera) and they have produced a really interesting report on currency volatility and cross border trade. The Are You Ready for 2023 report covers a global outlook, including views on energy costs, supply chain and political uncertainties. It then looks at foreign exchange forecasting for 2023, and then concludes with strategic overviews. It is certainly worth a read and if you wish to discuss any of the matter raised in the report Amy would be pleased to assist.

As a member company of BSSA, I would like to highlight the below ‘member to member’ offer which may be of interest.

Amy Deakin, one of Western Union Business Solutions partner leads, has shared their “Are You Ready for 2023?” report.

This looks into key themes that will impact on businesses next year and helps keep businesses abreast of patterns/trends so they can plan appropriately

Amy is offering a free no obligation meeting (in person, video, or phone) to discuss how Western Union Business Solutions can potentially support members with their FX requirements and to provide a sounding board for any foreign currency related concerns our members might have.  Given the current uncertainty in the markets and the level of expertise on offer, we would strongly suggest our members take Amy up on this offer.

It’s also well worth noting, Western Union have recently launched a “Green Hedging” solution, so whenever clients book foreign currency hedges, they can offset some of their Carbon Footprint!  I am sure you can imagine how popular this proving to be in the current climate!  If you or any of your colleagues would like some further information on this just let Amy know.

I appreciate that this may not be your area of responsibility but if you could please forward the details or signpost Amy to the correct point of contact and ask them to liaise with Amy that would be fantastic.

I hope that you find this information  useful and I would welcome any comments or questions, or please refer directly to Amy at Western Union.
