DWP’s new initiative, Way to Work
Way to Work is a national push to help even more people benefit from the record number of vacancies available in the jobs market, including many sectors vital to our national recovery.
There are hundreds of thousands of people on Universal Credit who are actively looking to make a fresh start in work. This means there are many talented, work-ready people who are eager to take on your roles.
Way to Work is not a scheme which offers government funding like the Kickstart Scheme, however it will further support you with your ongoing recruitment.
Why should you get involved with Way to Work?
If you’re looking to fill a vacancy, Jobcentre plus has a range of recruitment services that can help you. A full list of support available through Way to Work can be found here: Jobcentre Plus – working together with employers (publishing.service.gov.uk)
Jobcentre Plus will offer you a named employer advisor in your local jobcentre, or a dedicated national account manager if you’re a national employer.
How can I get involved with Way to Work?

The Department for Work and Pensions are also running a series of information sessions to introduce employers to the benefits of Way to Work. Following an overview of the initiative, there will be an opportunity to ask questions. Information sessions will be held weekly on Microsoft Teams. To attend, register for free on eventbrite.
