CBI Decarbonisation Council meets with government to discuss UK energy security

Last year the UK launched its Clean Green Initiative, to help developing countries take advantage of green technology and grow their economies sustainably. In support of this, Tania Kumar (Head of Decarbonisation, CBI) met with members in India to discuss how climate and nature commitments are being delivered following the announcement of the country’s 2070 net zero target. Conversations focused on the role of private finance and supply chains alongside the opportunities for development of solar, hydrogen and CCUS technologies.
