Chemical composition of stainless steel flat products for pressure purposes to BS EN 10028-7

Introduction

As an alternative to scanning down the list try the ‘find’ facility on your keyboard, using the ‘Ctrl’ and ‘F’ keys together. Type in the term you are looking for in the dialog box that then appears.

The data given is not intended to replace that shown in individual standards to which reference should always be made.

BS EN 10028-7:2016 Edition

BS EN 10028-7 was originally published in 2000. The second version, BS EN 10028-7:2007, superseded BS EN 10028-7:2000, which was withdrawn by BSi on 31st January 2008. The third, current version was published in 2016, replacing the 2007 version, which itself has now been withdrawn.
The tables shown here only have the 2005 composition ranges.

The grades are taken mostly from BS EN 10088-2 with some grades from creep resisting standard BS EN 10302. The distinction between standard and special grades in BS EN 10088-2 is not followed through into this standard. The following tables preserve the listing in the standard which is not in grade number order.
