Aluminium > 0.10 < 0.30 ±0.05
> 0.30 < 1.50 ±0.10
Boron < 0.0050 ±0.0005
Titanium < 0.80 ±0.05
Tungsten < 2.50 ±0.05
Vanadium < 0.20 ±0.03

Note. If more than one product analysis is carried out, the content of an individual element may be either above or below the permitted composition specified in the cast analysis but not both at the same time. For example, in grade 1.4301 the Nickel content is 8.0/10.5% for the cast analysis. This means that the minimum value for the product analysis is 7.9% and the maximum is 10.15% but it would not be permissible for one product analysis to be 7.95% and another to be 10.1%.

Permissible product analysis tolerances on the cast analysis ranges given in EN 10088-3
