Wednesday 6 July 2022

08:30-15:30

ALFED is hosting this networking event, designed to create awareness and introduce developments in new alloys, processes, and manufacturing techniques to the wider automotive industry.

This is an intensive day, where we will explore aluminium’s demonstrated light weighting properties, and applications.

Featuring guest speakers from Ford Motor Company, Gestamp UK and 3M

Open to the whole automotive industry – Tier 1, 2 and others; automotive sub‑contractors and manufacturers. Participants are encouraged to extend invitations to their customers, suppliers and interested parties.

The main programme will cover strictly education information and advances in aluminium and applications. Two break-out rooms are available for networking and for any company which wishes to have a display (please contact ALFED to arrange).

The University of Wolverhampton’s Telford Innovation Campus is home to the Engineering branch of the School of Engineering, Computing and Mathematical Sciences. Noted for their expertise in ALM and composite materials, the campus also features University of Wolverhampton Racing (UWR), the factory development team for Morgan Motor Company and the only student team to compete in the Praga Cup.
