Service conditions are increasingly demanding in many sectors. However, a good understanding of the range of stainless steel grades, their suitability for particular environments and how to fabricate with them is vital to unsure the ideal outcome for the client. TWI in conjunction with Outokumpu, BSSA and in partnership with Scottish Enterprise are holding a fabrication workshop on Wednesday 19th November which will provide a thorough introduction to fabricating with stainless steel.
Workshop objectives:
- To promote good design and fabrication in stainless steel
- To highlight, with examples, what can be achieved by applying best practice
- To provide an introduction to development and support services

Who should attend:
This workshop will be of value to those involved in stainless steel fabrication, especially engineers and managers responsible for owning, designing and manufacturing stainless steel products and structures.
The workshop will be open for registration at 8.30am and the programme concludes at 1.00pm with lunch after.
