Known as the world’s leading gathering of high-level executives involved in stainless and special steels and their raw materials throughout the world. The 8th annual summit in Dusseldorf in 2009 set the agenda for the year ahead and 2010 promises to be even bigger and even more important.

The BSSA in conjunction with TWI and Outokumpu Stainless are holding a fabrication workshop which will be hosted by Doosan Babcock Energy at Renfrew. The workshop will compare fabricating with austenitics and duplex stainless steels and will cover the basic metallurgy of stainless steel, material selection, design, welding, fabrication and post-fabrication finishing. There will also be an opportunity to tour Doosan Babcock’s facilities.
